Marnie e hijos (conjunta)

European Shorthair · Female · Senior · 9 years

Marnie was alone in the field when she saw one of our volunteers doing a rogaining, and she decided to follow her. When we arrived at the animal shelter, we noticed that she had a round belly, and the vet confirmed that she was carrying five podenquitos inside. She gave birth at the animal shelter and soon moved to a foster care home. Three of the five puppies were adopted, but the last two were not. After so much time together, and considering that one of them is much more fearful, we decided that we couldn't separate them, as the fearful one would likely be left alone, condemning him to loneliness. After waiting, no one offered to adopt them together. And their mom, Marnie, had to educate them at home and train them to be in shape. Now we can't separate the family unit. We know that it's not easy to adopt an entire family, but that's because people don't realize how easy it is to adopt an entire family. Paradoxical, huh? They love each other a lot and get along well. They play and have fun. Everything is ready, all you need is a home. A place to live with podenquitos. Are you ready to live with Podenco hounds?

ES·Show original

About Marnie e hijos (conjunta)

What life with Marnie e hijos (conjunta) looks like

Marnie e hijos (conjunta) is a senior european shorthair dog waiting at A.D.A. Noguera in Spain.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Marnie e hijos (conjunta), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Marnie e hijos (conjunta)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. A.D.A. Noguera handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Marnie e hijos (conjunta) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Marnie e hijos (conjunta) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — A.D.A. Noguera will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Marnie e hijos (conjunta) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Marnie e hijos (conjunta) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with A.D.A. Noguera early rather than rehoming privately; they know Marnie e hijos (conjunta) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
