He is generally very attached to people, although he can be a little shy at first. Once he has gained trust, he greatly enjoys being petted and being close to people. Fanta walks well on the leash and is overall very well-behaved and eager to learn. He currently lives together with two other dogs in a large outdoor enclosure. There he shows himself to be very social and getting along well with others. He does not necessarily need another dog in his new home, but he certainly enjoys the company of other dogs. Fanta is looking for a home in a rural or quiet environment with patient, experienced dog people who will give him the time he needs to settle in. Fanta was seized by the Guardia Civil, together with other dogs, from a poor living situation, a "rehala" (a hunting-dog pack kennel). The dogs were in very poor condition before they were rescued. Fanta is now waiting for a loving home where he can finally experience security, affection and a life appropriate to his needs. Of course, Fanta is vaccinated and microchipped. The test for Mediterranean diseases showed no abnormalities.

Menschen gegenüber ist er grundsätzlich sehr anhänglich, auch wenn er anfangs etwas schüchtern sein kann. Hat er Vertrauen gefasst, genießt er Streicheleinheiten und menschliche Nähe sehr. Fanta läuft gut an der Leine und zeigt sich insgesamt sehr brav und gelehrig. Er lebt derzeit mit zwei weiteren Hunden zusammen in einem großen Auslauf im Freien. Dort zeigt er sich im Zusammenleben sehr sozial und verträglich. Er benötigt nicht zwingend einen weiteren Hund im neuen Zuhause genießt aber durchaus die Nähe anderer Hunde. Fanta sucht ein Zuhause in ländlicher bzw. ruhiger Umgebung bei geduldigen und hundeerfahrenen Menschen, die ihm die nötige Zeit zur Eingewöhnung geben. Fanta wurde gemeinsam mit anderen Hunden von der Guardia Civil aus einer schlechten Haltung, einer Rehala, beschlagnahmt. Die Hunde waren in sehr schlechtem Zustand, bevor sie gerettet wurden. Fanta wartet nun auf ein liebevolles Zuhause, in dem er endlich Sicherheit, Zuneigung und ein artgerechtes Leben kennenlernen darf. Selbstverständlich ist Fanta geimpft und gechipt. Der Test auf Mittelmeerkrankheiten zeigte keine Auffälligkeiten.
