Fati

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Fati is a friendly and gentle female dog who is currently at our partner animal shelter, Hogar de Asis, waiting for a loving home with people she can share her life with. Her one cropped ear and the other standing upright immediately make us smile, reminding us of a comic character. But it's not just her appearance that makes you fall in love - it's her wonderful soul! At the shelter, Fati has won over everyone's hearts with her sensitive and balanced nature. She is an absolute soul dog who stands out positively at the shelter. She is simply loving, relaxed, wants to please and do everything right. She doesn't like to be loud or demanding, but prefers to make a quiet and gentle impression on people. Fati originally came from a municipal killing station, where our animal welfare partner Tere was able to rescue some dogs. We don't have any further information about her past. But Fati seems not to care, as she goes through the shelter life with a positive attitude and is perfectly integrated. She has built a trusting relationship with her caregivers. Even when two members of the animal welfare organization Europa visited, she greeted them as usual - gently, friendly and politely interested. Her basic character tends to be waiting and submissive. Revolutionary or rebellious behavior is not observed in her at the shelter.

DE·Show original

About Fati

What life with Fati looks like

Fati is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Europa in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fati, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fati?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Europa handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fati on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fati if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Europa will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fati already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fati isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Europa early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fati and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
