Felipe

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Felipe - a shy treasure looking for love and security Felipe and his brother Flynn came to us in Babensham near a farm. Initially, they had a stubborn skin fungus that needed treatment for some time. Now Felipe is completely fit, vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and ready to discover his new home. By nature, Felipe is initially a bit shy. But if you give him time and patience, you will soon get to know his affectionate and loving nature. He enjoys the closeness to his humans and is happy about quiet petting as soon as he has gained trust. Felipe gets along very well with other cats, so it would be nice if there is already a cat in the new home. Alternatively, he can also have cats in the neighborhood to play with. After getting used to his new home, Felipe really wants to go outside again to live out his curiosity, explore nature and experience small adventures. If children live in the household, they should be calm, patient and understanding with Felipe so that he feels safe and secure. Who adopts Felipe gets a gentle, faithful cat who opens his heart with a lot of love, patience and affection and enriches his new home with his charming, affectionate nature.

About Felipe

What life with Felipe looks like

Felipe is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Tierschutzverein Rosenheim in Rosenheim.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Felipe, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Felipe?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Rosenheim handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Felipe on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Felipe if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Rosenheim will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Felipe already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Felipe isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Rosenheim early rather than rehoming privately; they know Felipe and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
