Rüde – ca 6 Jahre alt (Stand: September 2026) – 50 cm – Kastriert – in Bulgarien Herkunft Ferdinand kam als Welpe ins Tierheim in Dobrich. Seither wartet er dort – bisher leider vergeblich – auf seine Chance, ein Ticket in ein warmes Körbchen zu ziehen. Wesen Ferdinand, ein sanfter Rüde, hat seine gesamte Welpenzeit im Tierheim verbracht und dadurch leider viele Erfahrungen verpasst. Ohne große Umweltreize aufgewachsen, zeigt er sich anfangs zurückhaltend und ängstlich. Verschiedene Situationen können ihn schreckhaft machen, daher benötigt er Menschen, die ihm mit viel Zeit, Geduld und Liebe begegnen. Trotz seiner anfänglichen Scheu ist Ferdinand im Grunde ein äußerst lieber Hund. Seine Verträglichkeit mit Artgenossen eröffnet die Möglichkeit, ihn in ein Zuhause mit einem bereits vorhandenen Hund zu vermitteln. Das könnte ihm helfen, da der bereits ansässige Vierbeiner ihm als eine Art Wegweiser dienen kann. In Bezug auf menschliche Freunde benötigt Ferdinand etwas mehr Zeit, um Vertrauen aufzubauen.
