However, he’s already taking small but valuable steps: he’ll take treats from your hand, demonstrating that his curiosity is growing and that he’s slowly starting to open up to people. Ferry needs time—time to settle in, time to understand that no one means him any harm. His future family should not rush him but instead meet him with patience, calmness, and understanding. Because trust doesn’t grow overnight for Ferry—but once it’s there, it’s truly something very special. Ferry gets along well with other dogs and likes to orient himself toward them. They give him security and help him become braver. Ferry is looking for people who don’t expect the “perfect” dog, but who are ready to celebrate every single little step he takes together with him. Because behind his shy exterior lies a dog who finally longs to experience what it feels like to be safe and to have a loving home. —————– This relatively young male dog shows considerable fearfulness. He avoids any contact with humans. Under pressure, he has even snapped at times. With the other dogs in the kennel, he gets along well. Anfassen lässt er sich derzeit noch nicht – dafür fehlt ihm das Vertrauen. Doch er zeigt bereits kleine, wertvolle Schritte: Leckerchen nimmt er aus der Hand und beweist damit, dass seine Neugier größer wird und er sich langsam auf den Menschen einlässt. Ferry braucht Zeit. Zeit, um anzukommen. Zeit, um zu verstehen, dass ihm niemand etwas Böses möchte. Seine zukünftige Familie sollte ihn nicht drängen, sondern ihm mit Geduld, Ruhe und Verständnis begegnen. Denn Vertrauen wächst bei Ferry nicht über Nacht – aber wenn es einmal da ist, ist es etwas ganz Besonderes. Mit anderen Hunden ist Ferry verträglich und orientiert sich gerne an ihnen. Er geht jeglichem Kontakt mit dem Menschen aus dem Weg. Unter Bedrängung hat er auch schon mal geschnappt. Mit den anderen Hunden im Kennel zeigt er sich verträglich. Kontakt: Unsere Hunde sind geimpft (Tollwut und 2x Grundimmunisierung) sind gechippt und mit dem EU-Heimtierausweis ausgestattet werden auf unsere Kosten (wir übernehmen die Labor-Gebühren) auf die gängigen Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet: Babesiose, Ehrlichiose, Leishmaniose, Rickettsien, Filarien, Hepatozoonose, Anaplasmose werden nur nach positiver Vorkontrolle (Hausbesuch) gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit Schutzvertrag vermittelt.
