I am Feta, a sadly still quite insecure but heartwarming female dog with a lot of potential. I unfortunately didn't learn much in my previous home; I still need to further internalize basic commands – but I am ready to start anew with you. This is me: At first in new situations, I am cautious, bark out of insecurity, and need some time to settle in – even with new people, I initially fear strangers a lot. When I gain trust, I show my true self: playful, clingy, lovable, and with a lot of fun for playing and bathing! In a large crowd of people, I once snapped out of overstimulation. It was probably misguided hunting behavior. In everyday life, I tend to avoid conflicts with playful invitations and charm. I wear my muzzle completely relaxed and am well secured with it until I learn everything I need for a safe life. I wish for a quiet, dog-experienced, active home, preferably more quiet on the outskirts of town. Children should be at least in their youth and well-behaved, and there should be no cats living there. I look forward to people who will show me with patience, clear guidance, and loving training how wonderful a dog life can be. Ich bin Feta eine leider noch recht unsichere, aber herzensgute Hündin mit viel Potenzial. Ich habe in meinem früheren Zuhause leider nicht viel gelernt; Grundkommandos muss ich noch weiter verinnerlichen – aber ich bin bereit, mit dir gemeinsam neu durchzustarten. Das bin ich: In neuen Situationen bin ich erstmal vorsichtig, belle aus Unsicherheit und brauche etwas Zeit, um mich zurechtzufinden – auch bei neuen Menschen fremdle ich anfangs sehr. Wenn ich Vertrauen gefasst habe, zeige ich mein wahres Ich: verspielt, anhänglich, liebenswert und mit viel Spaß am Toben und Baden! In einer großen Menschenansammlung habe ich aus Überforderung heraus einmal geschnappt. Vermutlich war das eher fehlgeleitetes Jagdverhalten. Im normalen Alltag gehe ich Konflikten nämlich eher aus dem Weg mit Spielaufforderung und Charme. Ich trage meinen Maulkorb völlig entspannt und bin damit gut abgesichert, bis ich alles gelernt habe, was ich für ein sicheres Leben brauche. Ich wünsche mir ein ruhiges, hundeerfahrenes, aktives Zuhause, eher ruhiger am Stadtrand gelegen. Kinder sollten mindestens im jugendlichen Alter und verständig sein, Katzen sollten dort nicht leben. Ich freue mich auf Menschen, die mir mit Geduld, klarer Führung und liebevollem Training zeigen, wie schön ein Hundeleben sein kann.
