In Romania, Fiedler was thrown over the high fence of the animal shelter in Sisterea one night – along with Yoda and Willow. One can be thankful that the three male dogs were unharmed, suffering no broken bones upon landing on the hard ground and no bite wounds from the existing pack of roaming dogs at the animal shelter. Fiedler is a calm, gentle dog who somewhat resembles a St. Bernard. He is friendly towards people and enjoys being petted. His age has been estimated to be around nine years based on his worn teeth, though the wear could also be due to gnawing on cage bars and stones. Fiedler appears healthy and spry and does not look old. Due to his size and weight, a ground-level home with preferably a garden is sought for Fiedler. This laid-back, low-maintenance dog would be well-suited for older individuals. However, he could also serve as the calm center in a more turbulent household. He already walks well on a leash and will enjoy a life in a loving home very much. The good-natured Fiedler is 65 cm tall and has been at the animal shelter since July 2025. There, he has already been microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered. Before travel arrangements, he will receive a blood quick test. In Rumänien wurde Fiedler eines Nachts – zusammen mit Yoda und Willow – über den hohen Zaun des Tierheims in Sisterea geworfen. Man kann von Glück sprechen, dass den drei Rüden nichts passiert ist, keine Knochenbrüche beim Aufkommen auf den harten Boden und keine Bisswunden durch die vorhandene, freilaufende Hundemeute im Tierheim. Fiedler ist ein ruhiger, sanfter Hund, der ein wenig an einen Bernhardiner erinnert. Er ist menschenfreundlich und lässt sich gern streicheln. Anhand seiner abgenutzten Zähne wurde sein Alter auf ca. neun Jahre geschätzt. Die Abnutzung kann aber auch auf das Nagen an Gitterstäben und Steinen beruhen. Fiedler macht einen gesunden fidelen Eindruck und wirkt nicht ältlich. Aufgrund seiner Größe und seines Gewichtes wird für Fiedler ein ebenerdiges Zuhause, möglichst mit Garten gesucht. Dieser gelassene, anspruchslose Hund ist für ältere Menschen gut geeignet. Er könnte aber auch der ruhige Pol in einem turbulenteren Haushalt sein. Er geht bereits gut an der Leine und wird ein Leben in einem liebevollen Haushalt sehr genießen. Der brave Fiedler ist 65 cm groß und seit Juli 2025 im Tierheim.
