Fien kwam bij ons terecht omdat ze thuis steeds minder graag terug naar huis kwam. De aanwezigheid van de andere katten in het gezin zorgde voor heel wat stress, waardoor ze zich daar niet meer op haar gemak voelde. Ook bij ons had Fien even tijd nodig om te wennen. Ze is in het begin wat terughoudend, maar eens ze je vertrouwt en zich veilig voelt, komt er een heel andere Fien tevoorschijn. Dan ontpopt ze zich tot een zachtaardige dame die geniet van aandacht en knuffels. Door haar leeftijd kan Fien haar mooie vacht niet altijd meer helemaal zelf verzorgen. Een beetje hulp van haar toekomstige baasje zal dus af en toe nodig zijn. Als ze je voldoende vertrouwt, laat ze zich gelukkig graag rustig kammen en verzorgen. Voor Fien zoeken we een warme, rustige thuis zonder andere dieren of jonge kinderen. Een plek waar ze geen drukte meer hoeft te ervaren en gewoon op haar eigen tempo kan genieten van haar oude dag. Een rustig plekje waar ze op warme zomerdagen ook heerlijk van de frisse buitenlucht kan genieten, zou voor haar helemaal perfect zijn.
