Filoteo, a large-sized mixed-breed dog born in October 2016 and entering the shelter in 2018—yes, you read that right: years and years of confinement haven’t dimmed his desire to trust again. At first, he’ll observe you carefully, as if trying to figure out who you are, but it doesn’t take long before his curiosity prompts him to seek contact—because deep down, he still has so much love to give. He gets along well with other dogs, both males and females. We’re looking for a special person for him—a caregiver who can respect his past and finally offer him a dignified retirement filled with affection, peace, and the freedom he truly deserves. If you think you might be the hero ready to write the happy ending to this story, get in touch with us: he’s been waiting for you far too long! He’s currently at a private, affiliated shelter in Basilicata, and we’re able to place him either in Lazio or in northern Italy, following the necessary pre-adoption checks.
