Adopt Finkle

Beagle · Male · Puppy · 4 months

11-05-26 Finkle is a wonderful young pup who has recently come to us from a breeder. He’s still building his confidence around people, but at his young age he has plenty of potential to flourish in the right home with patience, kindness, and encouragement. As Finkle has never lived in a home environment before, he will need help learning all the basics, including house training, walking on a lead, and general puppy manners. Like any young dog, he’ll benefit from consistent guidance and positive experiences as he discovers the world around him. Finkle needs a calm and friendly resident dog who is happy to share their space with a playful puppy companion. He could live with sensible teenagers aged 16 and over who understand that puppies need boundaries and are happy to share their space with a young, playful dog. His adopters will need to commit to puppy training and socialisation classes to help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. Finkle would love an active and adventurous home where, once he comes out of his shell, he can enjoy exploring the world by your side. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.

About Finkle

What life with Finkle looks like

Finkle is a puppy/kitten beagle dog waiting at Many Tears Animal Rescue in Llanelli.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Finkle, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Finkle?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Many Tears Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Finkle on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Finkle if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Many Tears Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Finkle already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Finkle isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Many Tears Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Finkle and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
