Finn

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 5 years

Finn is a member of the Sipa farm colony. No one knows where or how this group came to the farm, but the farmer occasionally noticed strange cats running through his yard. At some point, a whole group had gathered there and had decided to stay. The colony can quickly grow, especially since one of the kittens was already quite round. Thus, this family arrived at the shelter in May. Finn is a young male cat whose first year of life was spent in the wild and who apparently had no contact with people before. The first months at the foster home passed with meowing and tail wagging, but never when I approached with food. Then the boy came closer with his nose, to sniff and enjoy the good smell of the cat food. Even now, when the kitten has already adjusted and is chattering and playing with others in the cat room, it is the treat that attracts him to me. I have even managed to make a pet, but he is still unsure and the work with him continues. Of course, Finn is also a kitten who could learn to trust people much faster at home, all it needs is time and patience. If you like Finn and you have patience, then this kitten is just for you. Please let the foster home know of your interest by email address !

ET·Show original

Finn on Sipa taluõue koloonia liige. Nõnda saabus see perekond maikuus turvakoju. Tekkis huvi? Täida ankeet ja paku kodu!

About Finn

What life with Finn looks like

Finn is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ in Estonia.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇪Adopting from Estonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Finn, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Finn?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Finn on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Finn if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Finn already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Finn isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ early rather than rehoming privately; they know Finn and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ET). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
