Finnick

Mixed Breed Cat · Male · Kitten · 4 months

This handsome boy came into our care after being found with his siblings by a member of the public when they were just one week old. After plenty of love, care, and time in foster, Finnick is now ready to find his forever home. Finnick is a fun-loving, lively kitten who enjoys spending his days playing and wrestling with his kitten friends. Once he has burned off some energy, you'll often find him stretched out on a cosy bed, enjoying a well earned nap. Finnick loves the company of other cats and would thrive in a home with another kitten or young cat who shares his playful personality. Due to his enthusiastic and energetic nature, he would be best suited to a home with older children who will enjoy engaging with him and giving him plenty of opportunities for fun and enrichment. Finnick may also be able to live with a cat-friendly dog, provided introductions are carried out gradually

About Finnick

What life with Finnick looks like

Finnick is a kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at USPCA.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇮🇪Adopting from Ireland

Irish shelters require a home check (often phone or video) and an adoption contract. Animals are vaccinated, chipped, and registered. Cross-border placements to mainland Europe require the rabies titer test (TRACES system).

Frequently asked

Adopting Finnick, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Finnick?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. USPCA handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Finnick on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Finnick if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — USPCA will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Finnick already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Finnick isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with USPCA early rather than rehoming privately; they know Finnick and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
