Finnley

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 3 months

Finnley is a sweet puppy who wants to explore the world. He lives with his mom and siblings Hanni, Bily, Heiner, Toni, and Frietzi at a foster home. Finnley is an incredibly friendly, lively, and active dog who approaches people openly and lovingly. He has a lot of life energy and, of course, the curiosity of a puppy for whom almost everything is still new and exciting. Finnley gets along well with other dogs. Whether cats could be his future friends is not yet known, as he has not been tested with them. Finnley has a beautiful shiny black coat. His white chin and paws give him a cute appearance and complete his own charm. Added to this is his alert, curious look, making Finnley definitely a small personality that you won't forget easily. However, those who fall in love with Finnley not only get a cute puppy, but also take on the exciting task of accompanying him on his journey to adulthood. Because the little one still has to learn how life in a family works. Stubbornness, relaxed walking on a leash or even staying alone for a short time, all of this is not yet part of Finnley's repertoire. However, he brings the best prerequisites to learn something new every day with his humans. Of course, small mishaps may still happen, shoes may suddenly become surprisingly interesting, and some rules may not be understood on the first try. This is exactly why Finnley needs people who stay by his side with patience, understanding, and loving consistency. A positively working dog school would be a great way to bring him closer to the dog ABC and at the same time create a good basis for life together from the beginning. And when the puppy age slowly recedes, the next chapter is already waiting: puberty. Then, from the little sunshine, a young dog with quite his own ideas can sometimes become. Boundaries are tested, the ears are first on the bypass. But with humor, composure, and clear orientation, this phase also passes, and it is often in this time that a particularly strong human-dog team grows together. Finnley is looking for people who not only see his beautiful exterior, but also have the desire to show him the world. People who play, learn, discover with him and at the same time convey peace and security. Who is ready to take on the adventure of a puppy may experience how this little whirlwind gradually becomes a wonderful companion for life. After a successful pre-control and against the assumption of a deposit, Finnley may travel to his new home chipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and de-fleaed. He naturally brings his EU pet passport. Has Finnley already won your heart and would you like to show him how beautiful a home can be? Then apply! Status: 07.09.2026 Further information on the topic of pre-control and deposit

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Dann bewerbe dich! About Finnley

What life with Finnley looks like

Finnley is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Finnley, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Finnley?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Finnley on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Finnley if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Finnley already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Finnley isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Finnley and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
