Her story: The approximately 2.5-year-old Fjorda is a delicate, very slender Barsoi female dog – likely even a purebred. With her long, silky fur and the typical aristocratic expression, she brings with her everything that distinguishes this special whippet breed: elegance, sensitivity, and a quiet, touching gentleness. In her foster home, Fjorda shows herself as a friendly, people-oriented female dog who, despite her openness, is still a bit shy and needs time to blossom. Once she has gained trust, she builds a close bond with her people and shows her loving and gentle side. She is also very compatible with other dogs. Already in the shelter, she met fellow animals and people socially, openly, and friendly. Typical of a Barsoi, she is quiet, unobtrusive, and composed in the house, while she shows her typical hunting instinct and impressive speed outside. For Fjorda, we therefore wish for a home that understands the needs of a whippet or is willing to learn about them. She looks forward to secure off-leash opportunities, whippet-appropriate stimulation, and people who respect her sensitive nature. Mit ihrem langen, seidigen Fell und dem typischen aristokratischen Ausdruck bringt sie alles mit, was diese besondere Windhundrasse auszeichnet: Eleganz, Sensibilität und eine stille, berührende Sanftmut. In ihrer Pflegestelle zeigt sich Fjorda als freundliche, menschenbezogene Hündin, die trotz ihrer Offenheit noch etwas schüchtern ist und Zeit braucht, um richtig aufzublühen. Hat sie einmal Vertrauen gefasst, baut sie eine enge Bindung zu ihren Menschen auf und zeigt ihre liebevolle und sanfte Seite. Auch mit anderen Hunden ist Fjorda sehr gut verträglich.
