Adopt Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information

Male · Young · 1 year

Watch out! This stunning chap will steal your heart quick as a flash! flash arrived as a stray but we don’t think he’ll be with us long! Full of character and charm this young gentleman is smooth as they come. We might not know much about his history but we know he’s got a bright future in front of him! affectionate and sweet natured, Flash loves a cuddle. And despite popular belief, lurchers do not require as much exercise as you might think! A good walk in the morning and Flash is happy to chill out and be a couch potato for the rest of the day. friendly with everyone, Flash is a popular boy! He also loves dogs but due to his age and lack of doggy manners sometimes we think he would be better suited to a home with no other pets at this time. He would love the chance to play with other dogs out on walks though! Staff are here to ensure the animals find homes which suit their needs. Most animals in our care have not had the best start in life and may require special care or training. We will assess your experience and assist you in finding the right pet for your home. Although we want to start their new life with you as quickly as possible, our re-homing process can take a few weeks from start to finish. The process is as follows:

About Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information

What life with Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information looks like

Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information is a large young adult dog waiting at RSPCA Danaher Animal Home in Braintree.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Note from the shelter: Lacks doggy manners and may need training with other pets

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Danaher Animal Home handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Danaher Animal Home will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Danaher Animal Home early rather than rehoming privately; they know Flash Temporarily Reserved More Information and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
