Unfortunately, back again… Our Fleur has unfortunately returned to us after being placed. Her slender, blonde appearance might lead you to believe you’re dealing with a rather silly lady—but our Fleur is actually as strong as a horse. If she sets her sights on something she wants to reach, you’ll have your hands full! She’s very easy to redirect from this fixation, but you’ll need to act promptly. Whether it’s bending her attention away, distracting her, or simply turning her around—everything works, but timing is crucial. Fleur had a beautifully lovely spot with a huge garden where she could happily do her thing undisturbed. A little race around the garden, lounging comfortably in the sun—simply paradise. However, she felt it was necessary now and then to give the free-ranging chickens and rooster quite a scare. This is almost a trigger for nearly every dog. Her biggest “problem,” though, was her strength. We advise everyone placing her to train with strong dogs to walk without pulling. There are also excellent aids available for this purpose (no, not painful leashes behind the dog’s head!). For Fleur, we’ll reopen the search once more—a place where she won’t be constantly confronted with rabbits, deer, chickens, and the like. Fleur is vigilant on her territory; a well-fenced garden is essential. Fleur listens perfectly and is an exceptionally loyal companion. She’s a total cuddlebug. She’s loyal to her people (we don’t anticipate any issues with children over 12 years old). A confident male dog would also be a great match. If you’re seriously interested, please email or call us. Helaas terug…. Onze Fleur is na een plaatsing helaas bij ons terug gekomen. Haar ranke blonde verschijning doet vermoeden dat je met een echte ietwat sullige dame te maken hebt. Onze Fleur is echter sterk als een paard. Als zij iets ziet waar ze naar toe wil, dan heb je er een stevige dobber aan. Ze is heel goed uit deze fixatie te halen maar dan wel op tijd inzetten. Ombuigen, afleiden, of gewoon omdraaien, het werkt allemaal maar timing is essentieel. Fleur had een prachtig mooie plek met mega tuin om heerlijk ongestoord haar ding te kunnen doen. Een race rondje door de tuin, lekker loungen in de zon kortom een paradijs. Ze vond het echter wel noodzakelijk om loslopende kippen en haan zo af en toe de stuipen op t lijf te jagen. Wel bijna voor iedere hond een trigger. Haar grootste “probleem” was echter haar kracht. We adviseren iedereen bij plaatsing om bij sterke honden te trainen in het wandelen zonder trekken. Hierbij zijn ook prima hulpmiddelen (nee géén pijnlijke lijntjes achter het hoofd van de hond) te verkrijgen. Voor Fleur gaan we weer de zoektocht heropenen. Een plek waar ze niet continue geconfronteerd wordt met konijnen, reeën, kippen etc. Fleur is waaks op haar terrein, een goed afgezette tuin is noodzakelijk. Fleur luistert perfekt en is een uitermate trouwe huisgenoot. Mega knuffelkont. Loyaal aan haar mensen (kinderen boven de 12 jaar verwachten we geen probleem) Een zelfverzekerde reu zou ook prima kunnen. Bij serieuze belangstelling verzoeken wij u ons te mailen of te bellen. Fleur verdient een hondenparadijs en wij gaan voor haar zoeken. Fleur is een gesteriliseerd mix teefje met een geschatte geboortedatum van 10 oktober 2022 en een eindhoogte van circa 65 cm.
