Our Floksi certainly not - she just fell in love on her own. With her fluffy floppy ears, curious button eyes and her gentle gaze, she slips right into your heart. How Floksi and her siblings came into the world and why nobody wanted to keep them, we unfortunately do not know. The puppies were probably given up shortly after their birth at an animal shelter. The employees there were very worried that the little ones would not have a chance without intensive care. So they asked our animal welfare partner Kristina for help. Kristina runs her own animal shelter in Croatia - and of course she said yes immediately. She took all the puppies with her, raised them lovingly with a bottle and a lot of heart and gave them the start in life that every puppy deserves. Today Floksi is ready for her very own happy ending. From September she can pack her bags and travel to her family. Currently, her everyday life consists of the important puppy things: playing, cuddling, curiously examining everything, romping around with her siblings, collapsing tired in between and then starting the next adventure full of energy. As a Croatian Shepherd mix, Floksi also brings a really clever head. Now she can of course just be a puppy and discover the world. When she grows up, she will be happy if her people love her. Whether tracking, obedience, agility, treibball or other exciting activities - the main thing is to spend time together and learn new things with joy. Floksi is looking for people with patience, humor and a lot of love. People who know that from this little black furball one day a clever, loyal and active companion will become. Unsere Floksi bestimmt nicht – sie ist einfach von ganz allein zum Verlieben. Mit ihren flauschigen Schlappöhrchen, den neugierigen Knopfaugen und ihrem sanften Blick schleicht sie sich direkt ins Herz. Wie Floksi und ihre Geschwister auf die Welt gekommen sind und warum sie niemand behalten wollte, wissen wir leider nicht. Vermutlich wurden die Welpen kurz nach ihrer Geburt in einem Tierheim abgegeben. Die Mitarbeitenden dort hatten große Sorge, dass die Kleinen ohne intensive Betreuung keine Chance hätten. Also baten sie unsere Tierschutzpartnerin Kristina um Hilfe. Kristina betreibt selbst ein Tierheim in Kroatien – und natürlich sagte sie sofort Ja. Sie nahm alle Welpen bei sich auf, zog sie liebevoll mit der Flasche und ganz viel Herz groß und schenkte ihnen den Start ins Leben, den jedes Hundekind verdient. Heute ist Floksi bereit für ihr ganz eigenes Happy End. Ab September darf sie ihre Köfferchen packen und zu ihrer Familie reisen. Momentan besteht ihr Alltag aus den wichtigen Welpen-Dingen: spielen, kuscheln, neugierig alles untersuchen, mit ihren Geschwistern herumtoben, zwischendurch müde umkippen und anschließend voller Energie das nächste Abenteuer starten. Als Kroatischer Schäferhund-Mischling bringt Floksi außerdem ein richtig schlaues Köpfchen mit. Jetzt darf sie natürlich erst einmal ganz in Ruhe Welpe sein und die Welt entdecken. Wenn sie später erwachsen ist, wird sie sich aber freuen, wenn ihre Menschen sie liebevoll fördern. Ob Mantrailing, Obedience, Agility, Treibball oder andere spannende Beschäftigungen – Hauptsache gemeinsam Zeit verbringen und mit Freude Neues lernen. Floksi sucht Menschen mit Geduld, Humor und ganz viel Liebe. Menschen, die wissen, dass aus diesem kleinen schwarzen Fellknäuel einmal eine kluge, treue und aktive Begleiterin wird.
