Adopt Flor en adopción Colmenar

Mixed Breed · Female · 8 years

Adoption History: This little girl arrived at our area with poor fur condition and very thin, as we presume she was used for breeding and selling puppies. At first, we had to dedicate time to help her start trusting us, and after that, she has shown to be a loving dog who enjoys our company. When she meets someone new, she is more reserved but with a bit of time and patience, she gains confidence. She is a very calm dog who walks slowly with us. With other dogs she has met at the shelter, she is usually sociable once she gains confidence, and she gets along well with them. We hope she finds a home where she can have the peace and love she needs to become a happy dog. -34 .gallery-item { border: 2px solid ; -34 .gallery-caption { /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.

-38 .gallery-item { border: 2px solid ; -38 .gallery-caption { /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */

About Flor en adopción Colmenar

What life with Flor en adopción Colmenar looks like

Flor en adopción Colmenar is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at FAPAM in Malaga.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Flor en adopción Colmenar, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Flor en adopción Colmenar?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. FAPAM handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Flor en adopción Colmenar on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Flor en adopción Colmenar if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — FAPAM will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Flor en adopción Colmenar already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Flor en adopción Colmenar isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with FAPAM early rather than rehoming privately; they know Flor en adopción Colmenar and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
