On Monday evening, June 17, Celine, our intern leader in Aalborg, received a generous donation of DKK 10,000 to Kattens Værn. In the picture, the donation is handed over by Per Vedsted, president of Aalborg Søndre Rotary Club. The background of the handover was the distribution of the 2024 Initiative Prize from Rotary to the company Space Inventor. The 2024 Initiative Prize is represented by a piece of steel from the railway bridge between Aalborg and Nørresundby, symbolizing the recipient's ability to build bridges and connect North Jutland. In addition, there is a cash amount with the prize, which is to be used for charitable purposes according to the recipient's choice, and this was the amount that Space Inventor chose to pass on to Celine and Kattens Værn. Female thanked by making a beautiful presentation of Kattens Værns work for all those present. We are very grateful for the donation, as we are facing a major renovation of the cat clinic, so we will be able to help even more cats in northern Jutland. Thank you very much!

Mandag aften den 17. juni modtog Celine, der er vores internatleder i Aalborg, en flot donation på kr 10.000 til Kattens Værn. På billedet overrækkes donationen af Per Vedsted, der er præsident for Aalborg Søndre Rotary Klub . Baggrunden for overrækkelsen var uddelingen af Årets Initiativpris 2024 fra Rotary til virksomheden Space Inventor. Årets Initiativpris er udtrykt i et stykke stål fra jernbanebroen mellem Aalborg og Nørresundby, som symboliserer modtagerens evne til at bygge bro og knytte Nordjylland sammen. Derudover følger der et kontant beløb med prisen, som skal bruges til velgørende formål efter modtagerens valg, og det var dette beløb, som Space Inventor havde valgt at give videre til Celine og Kattens Værn. Hun kvitterede med at lave en flot præsentation af Kattens Værns arbejde for alle de fremmødte. Vi er meget taknemmelige for donationen, da vi står over for en større ombygning af katteklinikken, så vi vil blive i stand til at kunne hjælpe endnu flere katte i det nordjyske. Tusind tak!
