Fluffy Buns

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Young · 3 years

Fluffy Buns is a gorgeous 3-year-old lady who may initially choose to hide away while she gets used to her new surroundings. But don’t let that fool you! Once she’s had a little time to settle and feels comfortable, her affectionate personality really starts to shine. She’s a girl who absolutely loves attention and will actively seek you out for fuss, rubbing around your legs and giving you the sweetest head bops. She’s playful too and enjoys her toys, but her favourite place is likely to be right on your lap, where she’ll happily settle for cuddles. She’s also a big fan of bedtime snuggles and will happily curl up right next to you – personal space clearly isn’t something she’s familiar with!Fluffy Buns can be unsure of loud noises, so she’d love a home where she can feel safe and secure, with plenty of cosy hiding spots and high places to retreat to when she needs them. She could potentially share her home with another calm, neutered cat following careful introductions and would be happy living with sensible secondary school-aged children. If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful little lady who will happily become your very own furry shadow, Fluffy Buns could be the girl for you! Please complete the application form below

About Fluffy Buns

What life with Fluffy Buns looks like

Fluffy Buns is a large young adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fluffy Buns, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fluffy Buns?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fluffy Buns on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fluffy Buns if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Fluffy Buns already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fluffy Buns isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fluffy Buns and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
