Flush

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 5 months

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Flush has found a home! His story: Here comes Flush! The sweet little boy who makes every heart beat a little faster❤️ A white dream with a mysterious black mask on his face. Flush, his siblings Kimi, Fidelia, and Laila, were found by a girl on a supermarket parking lot. The girl alerted the authorities, and the puppies were brought to the shelter. Fortunately, the entire sibling band was able to travel and Flush and Kimi are currently enjoying your visit at the Stray Nest in Rennertshofen. At around 5 months old, Flush is still a small puppy and is expected to only reach medium size. He is very delicate and small. The playful and friendly mixed breed is well-tempered with other dogs and loves to spend time with them. With people, he is super approachable and loves to snuggle without being pushy. As a puppy, Flush still has a lot to learn. House training, walking on a leash, and basic commands are at the top of his list. Patience and consistency are key, but with positive reinforcement and lots of treats, learning becomes pure fun! Also, alone time needs to be practiced step by step to avoid separation anxiety. After the puppy stage comes puberty – a phase that can cause a lot of chaos. During this time, it may be that Flush tests his limits and forgets what he has learned. With humor and a clear line, you will get through this phase together as a super team with great bonding. Ready to give this sweet puppy a home where he not only finds love and security, but also physical and mental stimulation that matches his breed characteristics and will likely only become apparent over time? He would also be happy to go to a foster home. He can be microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas together with his EU home certificate to his new family. Many thanks to his godmother Claudia, who gave Flush the chance to have a happy future with her name sponsorship. As of: 03.10.

Stand: 03.10.2025

About Flush

What life with Flush looks like

Flush is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Flush, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Flush?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Flush on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Flush if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Flush already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Flush isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Flush and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
