Maak kennis met Frans ❤️ Sommige katten wennen snel aan het leven in een asiel. Frans niet. Deze prachtige kater van 12 jaar oud moest afscheid nemen van zijn vertrouwde thuis, omdat zijn baasje helaas een allergie ontwikkelde. Een verdrietige situatie voor beide kanten, want Frans had het daar ontzettend naar zijn zin. Hij genoot van zijn rustige leventje: heerlijk rondstruinen in de afgezette tuin, een dutje in de zon en vooral de zekerheid van een eigen plek en een eigen mens. In het asiel voelt Frans zich helaas niet op zijn gemak. Hij laat zich nauwelijks zien en brengt veel tijd verstopt door onder een dekentje. Alsof hij hoopt dat alles weer wordt zoals vroeger zodra hij eronder vandaan komt. Het breekt ons hart om deze lieve jongen zo onzeker te zien. Toch weten wij wie de echte Frans is. Achter dat dekentje schuilt een ontzettend vriendelijke kater met een hart van goud. Er zit geen greintje kwaad in hem. Zodra hij zich weer veilig voelt, zal hij er alles aan doen om een band met zijn nieuwe eigenaar op te bouwen. Frans verlangt simpelweg naar rust, liefde en een plek waar hij weer zichzelf mag zijn. Frans is een kater van formaat, een echte grote jongen. Zijn indrukwekkende uiterlijk doet misschien anders vermoeden, maar eigenlijk is hij een enorme zachtaard. Met andere katten houdt hij zich liever niet bezig; ondanks zijn stoere voorkomen is hij niet degene die vooraan staat. Daarom zoeken we voor hem een thuis waar hij alle aandacht voor zichzelf krijgt. Vanwege blaasproblemen in het verleden eet Frans speciaal urinary-voer. Gelukkig vindt hij dat prima smaken, vooral het natvoer. Daarnaast krijgt hij twee keer per dag een pilletje voor zijn schildklier. Dat laat hij zonder problemen toedienen en vormt geen enkele uitdaging in de dagelijkse verzorging. Wat Frans nu het hardst nodig heeft, is iemand die hem een tweede kans wil geven. Iemand die voorbij zijn schuilplek kijkt en ziet wat wij zien: een lieve, trouwe en gevoelige kater die zijn vertrouwde wereld is kwijtgeraakt en niets liever wil dan weer ergens thuiskomen.
