EKH Franzl was rehomed in December 2017. ... My name is Franzl. I am male, neutered and born in 2015. I have been waiting for a new home since January 2016. This is what my caregivers say about me: Franzl is a cat from a semi-feral colony, where experienced cat people are sought for adoption. Franzl needed a long time to get used to us. Initially, he would immediately run away when people entered the adoption room. Now he observes us carefully, comes close to us during feeding times and even cuddles around our legs, and being petted is also allowed. In the adoption room, he appears more relaxed than during quarantine in the box. Therefore, potential adopters should also plan for an appropriate adjustment period in their new home. Franzl certainly does not want to be pressured, and we recommend hand-feeding and practicing how pleasant it can be to cuddle with a human hand. Since he has already experienced such training with us and then accepted the first cuddling moments, it is simply a matter of trust and patience that one must bring when adopting. Franzl gets along very well with other animals, and he can easily go out as a second cat. Who wants to give Franzl the chance to finally gain trust in his own home, which he will certainly only give to his new owner... EKH Franzl konnte im Dezember 2017 vermittelt werden. ……………………………………………………………………………………….. Mein Name ist Franzl. Ich bin männlich, kastriert und 2015 geboren. Ich warte seit Januar 2016 auf ein neues Zuhause. Das sagen meine Betreuer über mich: Franzl ist eine Übernahme von Katzen eines halbwilden Bestandes, wo Katzenkenner für die Adoption gesucht werden. Franzl benötigte lange Zeit, sich bei uns zurecht zu finden. Anfänglich war er sofort weg, wenn Menschen im Vermittlungszimmer erschienen sind. Inzwischen beobachtet er uns genau, zu den Fütterungen kommt sie in unsere unmittelbare Nähe und schmust dann auch um die Beine, selbst streicheln ist gestattet. Im Vermittlungszimmer zeigt er sich entspannter als zu Quarantänezeiten in der Box. Eine entsprechende Eingewöhnungszeit muss der Interessent dann auch im neuen Zuhause einkalkulieren. Franzl möchte keinesfalls bedrängt werden, wir empfehlen hier Handfütterung und dabei üben, wie angenehm Kuscheln mit der Menschenhand sein kann. Da er bei uns schon mal solch ein Training erfährtt und danach auch die ersten Kuscheleinheiten akzeptierte, ist es schlicht eine Frage des Vertrauens und der Geduld, die man bei Adoption mitbringen muss. Mit Artgenossen versteht er sich hervorragend, gern kann Franzl als Zweitkatze ausziehen. Wer möchte Franzl die Chance geben, endlich im eigenen Zuhause sein Vertrauen zu gewinnen, was er dann garantiert nur ihrem neuen Besitzer schenken wird…… Die Beschreibungen sind Eindrücke und Aufnahmen des Tieres in unserem Tierheim und unserer Pflegestellen.
