Freddie is a very friendly, excitable and loving boy with a sensitive nature. He loves being around people, enjoys plenty of fuss and attention and is playful with his toys. He also enjoys being groomed, although he can become a little wriggly if it goes on for too long! Freddie is finding kennel life quite stressful and doesn’t cope well with being left alone, so he will need an experienced owner who can be at home with him and give him the reassurance and companionship he needs. He loves getting out and about on walks, although he is strong and can pull on the lead, so his training will need to continue. Freddie is friendly and playful with other dogs and, if living with another dog, would prefer a female companion. Freddie can be protective around his food and may growl or stand over his bowl. This will need to be managed by feeding him separately and leaving him undisturbed while he eats. Small treats that can be eaten quickly are recommended rather than large, high-value chews that he may feel the need to guard. Freddie is a sweet, sensitive boy with lots of love to give and will benefit from a patient, understanding owner who can help him feel settled and secure.
