Our unneutered Friedrich had apparently been wandering around as a stray for quite some time. Now, in his old age, he found shelter with an elderly lady, but she couldn't care for the severely ill animal and asked us for help. Friedrich has many "construction sites," but we first had to start with neutering and treating him for worms and the many little crawlies on him. Friedrich is a very affectionate, though very emaciated, tomcat who seeks the company of humans. Unfortunately, the other cats don't like him and avoid him, which is very sad. He eats voraciously and clears everything in sight. Therefore, we had to place him in individual housing, as he reacts to the large amount of food with diarrhea, and the other cats always sat in front of the empty plate.

Unser nicht kastrierter Friedrich war wohl schon lange als Streuner unterwegs. Nun hatte er auf seine alten Tage Halt bei einer ebenfalls alten Dame gemacht, die sich aber nicht um das schwer kranke Tier kümmern konnte und uns um Hilfe bat. Friedrich hat sehr viele „Baustellen“, doch wir mussten natürlich erst einmal mit der Kastration und der Behandlung gegen Würmer und den vielen kleinen Krabbeltierchen auf ihm beginnen. Friedrich ist ein sehr verschmuster lieber Kater , der die Nähe der Menschen sucht. Leider mögen ihn die anderen Katzen nicht und meiden ihn, was sehr traurig ist. Er frisst für sein Leben gern und putzt alles weg, was zu finden ist. Daher mussten wir ihn jetzt in Einzelhaltung unterbringen, da er auf das viele Futter mit Durchfall reagiert und die anderen Katzen immer vor dem leeren Teller saßen. Letschow, im April 2020
