Dear animal friends, we were informed about 4 small kittens who have been in the carport of their finders. They are approximately 8-10 weeks old. Notably, they are quite thin. We are used to seeing fatter kittens of this age at our animal shelter. This means, first and foremost, worm medication and good food. Currently, 3 out of the 4 are with us. The finders are trying everything to secure the fourth as well. This is important because the eyes of some of them do not look so good and will probably need medical treatment. It will be fine. The tomcat of the trio is a charmer. After 10 minutes of being petted, he started purring and one could snuggle with him. The meeeew girls still need a little time. They are a bit shy. This means for us: Petting without end. By the way, in the photo you can already see two of the little ones with their new 'pull-daddy' Mo. Unfortunately, they can only see each other through the glass, but it is nice to observe that the sweet ones do not act strange around other cats! In our own defense: Dear cat owners! We need to talk! About your outdoor cats and the words: Castration! Responsibility! Cat suffering! But that is a topic for another post. We must first find the right words that do not hurt. Only the right arguments can hopefully convince. So, please, let your cats be castrated! PLEASE!

Liebe Tierfreunde, uns wurden 4 kleine Kitten gemeldet, welche sich im Carport ihrer Finder aufgehalten haben. Sie werden ca. 8-10 Wochen alt sein. Auffällig ist, dass sie recht mager sind. Wir sind durchaus dickere Kaliber bei uns im Tierheim in diesem Alter gewohnt. Das heißt dann erst einmal Wurmtablette und gutes Futter . Momentan sind 3 von den 4-en bei uns. Die Finder versuchen aber alles, um die 4-te ebenfalls zu sichern. Das ist auch wichtig, denn die Äuglein sehen teils nicht sooo gut aus und müssen sehr wahrscheinlich medikamentös behandelt werden. Wird schon wieder. Der Kater von dem Trio ist ein Charmeur. Nach 10 Minuten bespaßen fing er an zu schnurren und man konnte mit ihm schmusen. Die Meeeeedchen brauchen noch ein bisschen. Die zieren sich ein wenig. Das heißt jetzt für uns: Bespaßen ohne Ende. Auf dem Foto seht ihr übrigens schon mal 2 der Lütten mit ihrem neuen 'Ziehpapa' Mo. Leider können sie sich nur durch die Glasscheibe sehen, aber es ist schön zu beobachten, dass die Süßen vor anderen Katzen nicht fremdeln! In eigener Sache: Liebe Katzenbesitzer! Wir müssen reden! Über Eure Freigänger Katzen und über die Wörter: Kastration! Verantwortung! Katzenleid! Aber das ist ein Thema für einen anderen Beitrag. Wir müssen erst einmal die richtigen Worte finde, die keinem zu nahe treten. Nur die richtigen Argumente können hoffentlich überzeugen. Trotzdem schon mal die Bitte: Lasst Eure Katzen kastrieren! BITTE!
