Hello dear degu friends, this is my little Fünf. Fünf is around 6 years old and lost his long-term partner in May. Since then, we have already started several bonding attempts, but unfortunately, the last one failed yesterday because his friend Carli passed away. The two were still at the separation barrier. After this whole year, I have to admit to myself that I can no longer guarantee that I will be able to bond Fünf as well as he deserves. That would be unfair, and I want to ensure that he gets a nice degu life with someone who already has experience in bonding and with degus. To Fünf: Fünf was once submissive with his long-term partner, sometimes the leader. He is character-strong, but not fundamentally dominant; that depends on the counterpart. Fünf is a tooth patient who only needs to be seen every 6 months to have the tips corrected. In case of need, I could participate in other ways, such as with the food. Fünf is a degu who occasionally snuffles. He has kept this habit. He is not acutely ill but fit and lively. The only thing we do is inhale. I make sure to mix with timothy hay because it is dust-free. He is a super sweet guy and also likes to have his head scratched. It is very important to me that he goes to good hands. He is not neutered and should not be either. We come from 48652 Coesfeld.

Hallo liebe Degufreunde, das hier ist mein kleiner Fünf. Fünf ist ca. 6 Jahre alt und hat im Mai seinen langjährigen Partner verloren. Seitdem haben wir schon mehrere Vergesellschaftungsversuche gestartet, leider ist der letzte gestern daran gescheitert, dass sein Freund Carli gestorben ist. Die beiden saßen noch am Trenngitter. Nach diesem ganzen Jahr muss ich mir leider eingestehen, dass ich zukünftig nicht mehr versichern kann, alles so gut zu stemmen, wie Fünf es verdient hätte.Das wäre unfair und ich möchte ihm ein schönes Deguleben ermöglichen, bei jemanden, der schon Erfahrung im vergesellschaften und mit Degus hat. Zu Fünf:Fünf war mit seinem langjährigen Partner mal unterwürfig, mal der Anführer. Er ist charakterstark, aber nicht grundsätzlich dominant, das kommt auch auf den Gegenüber an. Fünf ist ein Zahnpatient, der zum Glück nur alle 6 Monate hin muss, um die Spitzen korrigiert zu bekommen.Gegebenenfalls könnte ich mich gerne anderweitig beteiligen, z.B. beim Futter. Fünf ist ein Degu, der ab und an niest. Das hat er beibehalten. Er ist aber nicht akut krank, sondern fit und munter. Das einzige was wir mal machen ist inhalieren. Ich achte auf eine Mischung mit Timothy Heu, weil das staubarm ist. Er ist ein super süßer Racker und lässt sich auch gerne mal den Kopf kraulen. Mir ist ganz wichtig, dass er in gute Hände kommt.
