Adopt Fynn

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy

Breed: mixed breed. Gender: male. Age: born on 12.01.2026. Weight: 7.1 kg. In animal shelter since: 07.05.2026. Special features: The young Fynn, born on January 12, 2026, is now ready to explore the world – together with his own family. Fynn is a friendly, curious, and playful male dog who gets along well with other dogs. In some situations, he still shows a bit of uncertainty, mainly because he hasn't experienced much yet. Everyday life is still new to him. He is not familiar with car rides, walks on a leash, or being left alone. His new family should bring patience, time, and joy in teaching him everything step by step. With loving guidance, Finn will surely learn quickly and gain more confidence. We hope for people who are eager to discover the world together with him and provide him with security. Attending dog training classes would certainly be a great support for him – and definitely something he would enjoy a lot. Anyone who wants to give a dear young dog a home and accompany him on his journey will find a wonderful companion in Fynn.

About Fynn

What life with Fynn looks like

Fynn is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierheim Lübbersdorf in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fynn, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fynn?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Lübbersdorf handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fynn on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fynn if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Lübbersdorf will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fynn already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fynn isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Lübbersdorf early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fynn and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
