Fynn is a roughly 9-year-old Dachshund who still enjoys good mobility and appreciates the quieter aspects of life. He loves leisurely walks and walks beautifully on a leash. Environmental noises don’t faze him at all, and he approaches his surroundings calmly and relaxed. As typical for Dachshunds, Fynn also has a healthy dose of character. He knows exactly what he likes and what he doesn’t, and sometimes he can come across as a bit grumpy. However, with patience, understanding, and loving consistency, he quickly becomes convinced. Anyone who knows and loves Dachshunds will especially appreciate these little quirks in him. Fynn gets along perfectly well with other dogs. He also accepts cats—and even chickens—without any problems. He handles car rides effortlessly as well. Whether as an only dog or as a second dog—Fynn happily adapts to his new home. For his new life, we’d like to find him a quiet home, preferably in a house with a small garden. The garden doesn’t have to be big—just a spot where he can relax and enjoy himself is perfectly sufficient for him. Stairs should ideally no longer be part of his daily routine, and a household with small children would also not be the right fit for him. Unfortunately, throughout his previous life, Fynn has had very little experience with love and affection. Yet every day he shows just how eager to learn and grateful he is: After just two weeks at his foster home, he already greeted “his” people joyfully with a wagging tail. You have to earn his trust—but once you’ve won his heart, he’ll give you his wholehearted affection. Fynn is looking for people who’ll accept him exactly as he is: with his charm, his little bit of grumpiness, and his big heart. People who’d like to enjoy his final years with him in dignity, provide him with a sense of security, and of course, occasionally treat him to an extra-special treat—because that’s when his eyes really light up. Fynn is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea-treated. He has an EU pet passport and will be rehomed after a positive pre-adoption check against a protection fee. Fynn ist ein lieber, etwa 9 Jahre alter Dackel-Mix, der großes Glück hatte und der Tötung entkommen konnte. Seit wenigen Wochen lebt er nun in Deutschland und hat in dieser kurzen Zeit eine wunderschöne Entwicklung gemacht. Anfangs zeigte sich Fynn noch traurig und misstrauisch. Doch Stück für Stück hat er begonnen, sein neues Leben anzunehmen und wieder Vertrauen zu fassen. Inzwischen ist aus ihm ein fröhlicher und aufgeweckter kleiner Kerl geworden, der sich riesig freut, wenn seine Menschen nach Hause kommen, und ihnen immer mehr seine liebevolle Seite zeigt. Im Haus verhält sich Fynn angenehm ruhig und auch das Alleinebleiben kennt er bereits. Im Auto fährt er gerne mit und Umweltgeräusche bringen ihn nicht so schnell aus der Ruhe. Mit Katzen und sogar Hühnern zeigt er sich entspannt. Auch wenn Fynn mit seinen neun Jahren bereits zu den Senioren gehört, gehört er noch lange nicht zum alten Eisen. Er genießt Spaziergänge und schafft auch längere Runden problemlos. Dabei läuft er souverän an der Leine und freut sich darauf, gemeinsam mit seinen Menschen unterwegs zu sein. Besonders schön ist, wie sehr Fynn inzwischen die Nähe zu Menschen genießen kann. Streicheleinheiten findet er mittlerweile richtig toll und auch Berührungen und Untersuchungen lässt er geduldig zu. Selbst beim Tierarzt zeigt er sich unkompliziert. Kinder in seinem neuen Zuhause sollten aufgrund seines Alters und seiner Vorgeschichte bereits etwas größer sein und einen respektvollen Umgang mit Hunden kennen. Für Fynn wünschen wir uns Menschen, bei denen er nach allem, was hinter ihm liegt, endgültig ankommen darf. Ein liebevolles und verlässliches Zuhause, schöne Spaziergänge, gemütliche Stunden und ganz viel Geborgenheit – viel mehr braucht unser kleiner Dackelmann gar nicht, um glücklich zu sein. Fynn hat noch jede Menge Lebensfreude zu verschenken und wartet nun auf die Menschen, mit denen er seinen nächsten und hoffentlich schönsten Lebensabschnitt verbringen darf. Fynn ist kastriert, geimpft, gechipt, entwurmt und entfloht und besitzt einen EU-Heimtierausweis. Nach positiver Vorkontrolle kann er gegen eine Schutzgebühr in sein neues Zuhause ziehen.
