I am called Gacek. On December 26, 2025, together with female dog Zuzia, we were found tied to a tree near the Geopark. It was a very difficult day. In my case, fear took over - I bit through the leash and didn't let myself be caught, defending myself with all the teeth I have. Not because I am aggressive, but because I was terrified and didn't trust anyone. Eventually, we were secured by the animal shelter, which gave me a chance for a new life. I am an adult dog and from my behavior it's easy to see that life hasn't been kind to me. I can analyze situations, think and take care of myself - these are traits of a dog who had to survive more than once. I am resourceful, intelligent, but also detached. I approach strangers cautiously, and my trust has to be earned through patience and calmness. I keep the premises clean, I can walk nicely on a leash and I really like people. Unfortunately, I still have a blockage inside - something that came from previous experiences. I need someone who will help me remove it step by step, without pressure and expectations "already". I'm looking for a home preferably without children, with an experienced caregiver who understands dogs with past experiences and can read the signals I send. In return, I can give loyalty, attention and a relationship based on real trust. If you know that you can give me time, calm and security - maybe that's exactly who I'm waiting for. Give me a chance for a home I never had before.

Mam na imię Gacek.26 grudnia 2025 roku, razem z suczką Zuzią, zostaliśmy znalezieni uwiązani do drzewa w okolicach Geoparku. To był bardzo trudny dzień. W moim przypadku strach wziął górę – odgryzłem smycz i nie dawałem się złapać, broniąc się całym uzębieniem, jakie posiadam. Nie dlatego, że jestem agresywny, ale dlatego, że byłem przerażony i nie ufałem nikomu. Ostatecznie zostaliśmy zabezpieczeni przez schronisko, co dało mi szansę na nowe życie. Jestem dorosłym psem i po moim zachowaniu łatwo zauważyć, że życie mnie nie rozpieszczało. Potrafię analizować sytuacje, kombinować i radzić sobie sam — to cechy psa, który musiał przetrwać niejedno. Jestem zaradny, inteligentny, ale też zdystansowany. Do obcych podchodzę ostrożnie, a na moje zaufanie trzeba zapracować cierpliwością i spokojem.Zachowuję czystość w pomieszczeniach, umiem ładnie chodzić na smyczy i tak naprawdę lubię człowieka. Niestety wciąż mam w sobie blokadę — coś, co powstało przez wcześniejsze doświadczenia. Potrzebuję kogoś, kto pomoże mi ją krok po kroku usunąć, bez presji i oczekiwań „na już”.Szukam domu najlepiej bez dzieci, u doświadczonego opiekuna, który rozumie psy po przejściach i potrafi czytać sygnały, jakie wysyłam.
