Gaston is a cat from a place where many stray cats used to live, regularly fed. This past explains his fearful and reserved nature towards humans. Gaston needs a lot of patience, gentleness, and time to learn trust. He advances at his own pace and will need a calm and reassuring environment to feel safe. He is also FIV positive (cat AIDS). Like many FIV-positive cats, he can live a completely normal indoor life with appropriate monitoring. The presence of another friendly cat, also FIV+, would be a real plus for him. This will help him feel more secure and evolve more calmly in his new home.

Gaston est un chat issu d’un site où vivaient de nombreux chats errants, nourris régulièrement. Ce passé explique aujourd’hui son caractère craintif et réservé face à l’humain. Gaston a besoin de beaucoup de patience, de douceur et de temps pour apprendre à faire confiance. Il avance à son rythme et aura besoin d’un environnement calme et rassurant pour se sentir en sécurité. Il est également FIV positif (sida du chat). Comme beaucoup de chats porteurs, il peut vivre une vie tout à fait normale en intérieur, avec un suivi adapté. La présence d’un autre chat sociable et lui aussi FIV+ serait un vrai plus pour lui. Cela pourra l’aider à se rassurer et à évoluer plus sereinement dans son nouveau foyer.
