Her story: The approximately 8-year-old Gaya has not lost her zest for life and trust in people despite her sad past. She was rescued together with her feline companion Alwin from a flat where over 30 animals had to live in terrible conditions in a cramped space. Due to the unsanitary husbandry, countless animals fell ill – unfortunately, Gaya also lost many of her teeth here. Despite everything, she has never lost her zest for life and trust in people! Gaya loves being with her people and shows it in her own charming way – she is actually a true talker! When she needs attention or is hungry, she lets her people know with her purring. Gaya also loves to climb – whether on the scratching post or directly onto her people to get her cuddle units! She gets along well with dogs and other cats. She also does not want to face her new life alone and would be happy with a cat roommate. If no cat is already waiting for her in the new home, she will surely take one of her friends from the foster home! She has no interest in a free roam and prefers to spend her time in a safe home. She would also be happy with a cat-safe netted balcony. Gaya is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She also has an EU pet passport and is now ready to travel to her new home.

Ihre Geschichte: Die etwa 8-jährige Gaya hat trotz ihrer traurigen Vergangenheit ihre Lebensfreude und ihr Vertrauen in Menschen nicht verloren. Sie wurde gemeinsam mit ihrem Katzenkumpel Alwin aus einer Wohnung gerettet, in der über 30 Tiere auf engstem Raum in furchtbaren Bedingungen leben musste. Durch die unsaubere Haltung wurden unzählige Tiere krank – leider hat Gaya hier auch viele ihrer Zähne verloren. Trotz allem hat sie nie ihre Lebensfreude und Vertrauen in Menschen verloren! Gaya liebt es, bei ihren Menschen zu sein, und zeigt das auf ihre ganz eigene, charmante Weise – sie ist nämlich eine wahre Sprechkünstlerin! Wenn sie Aufmerksamkeit braucht oder hungrig ist, lässt sie ihre Menschen das mit ihrem Miauen wissen. Auch liebt es Gaya zu klettern – ob auf dem Kratzbaum oder direkt auf ihre Menschen drauf, um sich ihre Schmuseeinheiten abzuholen! Mit Hunden und anderen Katzen kommt Gaya bestens zurecht. Ihr neues Leben möchte sie auch nicht alleine bewältigen müssen und würde sich über einen Katzenmitbewohner freuen. Sollte keine Katze im neuen Zuhause bereits auf sie warten, nimmt Gaya sicher eins ihrer Freunde aus der Pflegestelle mit! Sie hat kein Interesse an Freigang und verbringt ihre Zeit lieber im sicheren Zuhause. Über einen vernetzten Balkon würde sie sich aber sicher auch freuen. Gaya ist kastriert, gechippt, geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und wurde negativ auf FIV und FeLV getestet. Einen EU-Heimtierausweis besitzt sie ebenfalls und wartet nun reisefertig auf ihr neues Zuhause.
