He was abandoned together with his siblings in a cat colony at a campsite. Since the campsite guests weren't thrilled about the cats, the entire colony was relocated—only Genie was forgotten and left behind alone. The people weren't exactly kind to him and tried to chase him away. Eventually, he was found and rescued by one of our volunteers.Genie was very ill when she took him in. He was taken to a veterinary clinic, where he immediately received three months of treatment involving injections and tablets. The treatment worked well, and his condition improved significantly and steadily. Meanwhile, the treatment is complete; he’s healthy again, and all his blood values are perfectly normal.Genie is a very talkative and sociable tomcat. He follows his foster mom everywhere and greets her when she comes home. He’s playful and loves being petted—even though he’s not yet a typical lap cat. Genie likes to sit next to his foster mom on the sofa to get attention, but sometimes he responds with little love bites when he gets overwhelmed. Lifting and handling him works without any problems.Genie used to live with other cats and still tries to make friends with his foster mom’s cats—but unfortunately, they reject him.We believe he’d get along well with a calm dog that’s used to living with cats.In his new home, Genie could be a great companion for an already existing cat. He’d love having access to a balcony connected to the house or a securely fenced garden.Genie has already been through a lot in his young life and is now ready for a happy life in his own home. He’s such a handsome tomcat, and surely someone will fall in love with his beautiful blue eyes and cuddly white fur.

Er wurde zusammen mit seinen Geschwistern in einer Katzenkolonie auf einem Campingplatz ausgesetzt. Da die Campinggäste von den Katzen nicht begeistert waren, wurde die Kolonie komplett umgesiedelt, nur Genie wurde vergessen und blieb alleine zurück. Die Menschen waren nicht gerade freundlich zu ihm und versuchten, ihn wegzujagen. Schließlich wurde er von einer unserer Freiwilligen gefunden und gerettet.Genie war sehr krank, als sie ihn aufgenommen hat. Er kam in eine Tierklinik, wo sofort eine dreimonatige Behandlung mit Spritzen und Tabletten durchgeführt wurde. Die Behandlung schlug gut an und sein Zustand verbesserte sich erheblich und ständig. Mittlerweile ist die Behandlung abgeschlossen, er ist wieder gesund und alle seine Blutwerte sind vollkommen in Ordnung.Genie ist ein sehr gesprächiger und geselliger Kater. Er folgt seiner Pflegemama auf Schritt und Tritt und begrüßt sie, wenn sie nach Hause kommt. Er ist verspielt und liebt es, gestreichelt zu werden, auch wenn er noch kein typischer Schoßkater ist. Genie sitzt gerne neben seiner Pflegemama auf dem Sofa, um Aufmerksamkeit zu bekommen, reagiert aber manchmal mit kleinen Liebesbissen, wenn es ihm zu viel wird. Das Hochheben und Anfassen klappt problemlos.Genie lebte früher mit anderen Katzen zusammen und versucht auch jetzt, sich mit den Katzen der Pflegemama anzufreunden, wird aber leider von diesen abgelehnt.Wir glauben, dass er sich mit einem ruhigen Hund verstehen würde, der an das Zusammenleben mit Katzen gewöhnt ist.In seinem neuen Zuhause könnte Genie gut einer bereits vorhandenen Katze Gesellschaft leisten. Er wünscht sich Zugang zu einem vernetzten Balkon oder gesicherten Garten.Genie hat in seinem jungen Leben schon viel durchgemacht und ist jetzt bereit für ein glückliches Leben in einem eigenen Zuhause. Er ist so ein hübscher Kater und bestimmt findet sich jemand, der sich in seine wunderschönen blauen Augen und sein kuscheliges weißes Fell verliebt.
