Genova, a Podenco-Collie mix, affectionately called Sky by her foster family in Spain, has a remarkable story despite her young age of just two years. In April 2026, she arrived at a Spanish animal shelter in a pitiful state, severely underweight, infested with ticks and fleas, and with bald patches. Yet, she has retained her incredibly loving and gentle nature. She was placed in foster care, where it was discovered that Genova was pregnant. On May 28, she gave birth to four healthy puppies and devotedly cared for her babies. All four have now found their forever homes, and it's now Genova's turn. Genova is calm, affectionate, and easy-going. She is familiar with indoor life, walks well on a leash, drives easily, and can be left alone for a few hours. She gets along well with other dogs and loves children. Initially shy around strangers, she quickly warms up and seeks the company of her humans. She loves walks, where she is relaxed, confident, and simply happy. We are looking for a loving foster home or, even better, her forever home for Genova. People who take her to their hearts and give her the happy ending she so richly deserves. Podenca-Collie-Mischling Genova – jetzt ist sie endlich an der Reihe Genova, von ihrer Pflegefamilie in Spanien liebevoll Sky genannt, hat in ihren gerade einmal zwei Lebensjahren schon einiges hinter sich. Im April 2026 kam sie in einem erbärmlichen Zustand ins spanische Tierheim – viel zu dünn, voller Zecken und Flöhe und mit kahlen Stellen. Trotzdem hat sie sich ihr unglaublich liebes und sanftes Wesen bewahrt. Auf einer Pflegestelle durfte sie sich erholen. Dort stellte sich heraus, dass Genova trächtig war. Am 28. Mai brachte sie vier gesunde Welpen zur Welt und kümmerte sich hingebungsvoll um ihre Babys. Alle vier haben inzwischen ihr Zuhause gefunden – nun ist Mama Genova an der Reihe. Genova ist ruhig, anhänglich und unkompliziert. Sie kennt das Leben im Haus, läuft wunderbar an der Leine, fährt problemlos Auto und kann einige Stunden alleine bleiben. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sie sich hervorragend und auch Kinder mag sie sehr. Fremden gegenüber ist sie zunächst etwas schüchtern, taut aber schnell auf und sucht dann die Nähe ihrer Menschen. Spaziergänge liebt sie – draußen ist sie entspannt, selbstbewusst und einfach glücklich. Für Genova suchen wir eine liebevolle Pflegestelle oder natürlich noch lieber ihr Zuhause für immer. Menschen, die sie an die Pfote nehmen und ihr endlich das Happy End schenken, das sie so sehr verdient.
