Adopt Gina (FIV Positive and one eye)

Meet sweet and pretty Gina. She is in Romania but can travel to the UK. She has one eye and is FIV positive. Country and location: Romania, Iași County Weight: ~ 5kg Rescue Story in brief: A couple of months after she was spayed as part of a TNR programme, in the beginning of 2025, her rescuer found her with her right eye injury. She took her to the vet, where she received treatment immediately, because her eyeball was very inflamed and had a severe infection. Unfortunately, after she finished with her treatment, the eye couldn't be saved so what was left of it was surgically removed by the vet. Disability: FIV positive and she has only one eye, the other one was removed because of the injury. Temperament details: Gina is a calm cat, with very little interest in toys and playing. She enjoys being loved petted over anything else. She likes to have her belly scratched and to be the centre of attention. She gets along with other cats, but she enjoys it better when she is the only cat. She likes people and seems to adapt easily to new visitors. We tested her with two dogs and she reacted well. She was a bit scared but she didn't run away or jump, instead she kept her distance and observed. We think she could get along with dogs, but we do need to test her more if someone with a dog is interested. She was spayed on May 1st 2024
