Aileen, Lola, Ella, and Gipsy – Four siblings who caused a big sugar shock! The litter of puppies was found alone and abandoned on a field and saved by us, as they likely wouldn't have made it without help. The cute Gipsy is just 9 weeks old and still a real baby. We estimate she will grow to be medium to large size. She is typical for a puppy, playful and lively, and loves to snuggle with us humans. With her fellow animals, she is also super compatible. From looks alone, it can be assumed that the four are herding dog mix breeds, possibly mixes from the Caucasian breed. Herding dogs are independent personalities that require consistency and empathy from the owner, and the ability to deal with an intelligent, independent, large dog. They bring many great qualities. People who already have experience with herding dogs don't want any other breeds, as despite their big heads, they are very loyal and faithful companions. One should therefore familiarize themselves with the characteristics of such a breed and consider whether the dog fits into the personal environment. Herding dogs are not city or office dogs. A large property that they can guard would be ideal for them. Since the territory of a herding dog extends as far as they can see, the property should be fenced to show them their territory boundaries. Soon, Gipsy's puberty will begin. In this phase, she will test her owners and their boundaries. She needs someone to stand by her during this hormone chaos and provide her with the necessary understanding and support so that she can grow into a great dog. Die Welpenbande wurde alleine und verlassen auf einem Feld gefunden und von uns gerettet, da sie es ohne Hilfe wohl nicht geschafft hätten. Die hübsche Gipsy ist gerade einmal 9 Wochen alt und noch ein richtiges Baby. Wir schätzen, dass sie einmal mittelgroß bis groß werden wird. Sie ist welpentypisch verspielt und aufgeweckt und liebt es mit uns Menschen zu schmusen. Mit ihren Artgenossen ist sie ebenfalls super verträglich. Rein vom Aussehen her lässt sich vermuten, dass die Vier Herdenschutzhundmischlinge sind, eventuell Mixe aus der Rasse Kaukase. Herdenschutzhunde sind eigenständige Persönlichkeiten, die Konsequenz und Einfühlungsvermögen durch den Besitzer voraussetzen und die Fähigkeit, sich mit einem intelligenten, selbständig handelnden, großen Hund auseinandersetzen zu können. Sie bringen viele tolle Eigenschaften mit. Menschen die bereits Erfahrung mit Herdenschutzhunden gemacht haben, wollen keine anderen Rassen mehr haben, da sie trotz ihres Dickschädels sehr treue und loyale Begleiter sind. Man sollte sich daher vorher mit den Eigenschaften einer solchen Rasse auseinandersetzen und auch überlegen, ob der Hund in das persönliche Umfeld passt. Herdenschutzhunde sind keine Stadt- oder Bürohunde. Toll wäre für sie daher ein großes Grundstück, das sie bewachen kann. Da das Territorium eines Herdenschutzhundes so weit reicht, wie sie gucken kann, sollte das Grundstück eingezäunt sein, um ihr ihre Territoriumsgrenzen zu zeigen. Bald steht bei Gipsy die Pubertät an. In der sie ihre Besitzer auf die Probe stellen und ihre Grenzen austesten wird. Sie sucht jemanden, der ihr bei diesem Hormonchaos beiseite steht und ihr das nötige Verständnis und die Unterstützung aufbringt, damit sie zu einem tollen Hund heranwachsen kann. Eine Hundeerziehung mit positiver Verstärkung und liebevoller Konsequenz helfen dabei, diese Zeit gut zu überstehen und als ein starkes Team aus ihr hervorzugehen. Denn Gipsy würde dich niemals bewusst ärgern. Sie kann in dieser aufwühlenden Zeit oft nichts für ihr Verhalten und hofft darauf, dass du in dieser schweren Zeit immer hinter ihr stehst. Im Haushalt lebende Kinder sollten schon älter sein, um den neuen Weggefährten ihrerseits zu verstehen und nicht falsch zu verstehen. Sicherlich wäre es jetzt an der Zeit neue Freunde in der Hundeschule zu suchen und endlich „was lernen“ zu dürfen – vielleicht mit dir? Sie brennt darauf das Hunde ABC zu lernen und neue Freundschaften zu schließen. Gipsy zieht gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht in ihr neues Zuhause.
