We are looking for a home for him, who knows that the akita is more than unique beauty - it is primarily a deep bond based on mutual respect and consistent driving. Giro is a student for a medal - clearly he had contact with education. He knows the commands and is willing to cooperate, which greatly facilitates joint activities. He loves long walks and playing with a man. For an akita, you don't throw your arms around everyone. At his first meeting, he can be distrustful and can bark at a stranger. He needs a moment to determine whether a man is worthy of his trust. He's neutral with dogs. We are constantly monitoring his reactions in various situations, but so far his mastery indicates a promising foundation for further socialisation. Giro's not a dog for everyone. He's a dog with a character who can bet on his own and see how much he can afford. We are looking for a guardian who knows the specificity of the breed and understands the independence and tenacity of the akit, is consistent, able to set limits and respect the space of the dog. Giro can't live at home with little kids. Living with a dog resident must be preceded by a positive familiarization and home visit. Important: We are looking for a home that understands that the akita is not a “plushy bear” but a dog of independent nature.
