The Kangal male dog Gismo was born around 2010. The sturdy retiree is looking for a quiet place, preferably as a single dog. Gismo would most like a farm or an enclosed garden where he can lie and guard according to his genes. However, Gismo is definitely not a barker but only strikes when necessary. Despite his age and generally friendly nature, Gismo needs clear boundaries; otherwise, he tends to defend resources like his food, the dog bed, and so on. So unobtrusive and sweet he is in the household environment, and great walkies with low reactivity work well, he can still turn around 180 degrees at dog encounters and mobilize unsuspected strength – we are currently working on this with a muzzle. Otherwise, the sweet grandpa is very vital for his royal age and shows no food intolerances.

Der Kangal Rüde Gismo wurde ca. 2010 geboren. Der rüstige Rentner sucht einen ruhigen Platz, gerne als Einzelhund. Am liebsten wäre Gismo ein Hof oder ein eingezäunter Garten, wo er liegen und seinen Genen entsprechend wachen darf. Er ist aber absolut kein Kläffer, sondern schlägt nur wenn notwendig an. Trotz seines Alters und seines grundsätzlich netten Wesens braucht Gismo klare Grenzen, sonst neigt er dazu Ressourcen wie sein Futter, das Körbchen usw. zu verteidigen. So unauffällig und lieb er im häuslichen Umfeld ist und toll reizarme Spaziergänge funktionieren, kann er sich bei Hundebegegnungen um 180 Grad drehen und ungeahnte Kräfte mobilisieren – hieran arbeiten wir aktuell noch mit Maulkorb. Ansonsten ist der süße Opa für sein königliches Alter sehr vital, zeigt keine Futtermittelunverträglichkeiten.
