We are looking for a home for this cat where she can be indoors or outdoors, provided a safe environment. Character and background of Goldie: Goldie was born with her two sisters as strays. When they were placed in the adoptive family, they were all extremely fearful of people. Gradually, they began to flourish with the help of various toys, treats, and a lot of patience. Goldie has earned her name... she's golden. Goldie was also the first of the three that we could pet and has grown into a cat that loves to be in the company of people she trusts. Goldie will be somewhat hesitant at first, but once she trusts you, she will love to be around you and especially on the couch close to you. She meows rarely, but in the morning, she is the alarm clock. She meows in such a cute way that you can't help but cuddle her. She loves this and will hit her body against you in a way that only Goldie can... very sweet and playful at the same time. She never lashes out with her claws, purrs, and rumbles... a real gem for those looking for a cat that offers a lot of love in exchange for lots of cuddles. The cat has been dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and registered. She has been tested for aids and leukemia and tested negative for both. We ask the usual contribution in veterinary costs of 200 euros per cat when both vaccinations were given. Adoption procedure: First, a phone call is made to see if there is a good match between you and the cat, then an appointment can be made for a visit so you can get to know each other. When adopting, an adoption contract is signed and the adoption fee is paid when the cat is picked up. The cat leaves with a European passport. Kan omgaan met honden: nee? Kan omgaan met andere katten: ja? Is opgegroeid met 2 andere katten (zussen) Deze kat verblijft in Gent. Voor deze kat zoeken we een thuis waar ze al dan niet naar buiten kunnen, mits een veilige omgeving. Karakter en achtergrond van Goldie: Goldie werd samen met haar twee zussen als zwervertjes op de wereld gezet. Toen ze werden geplaatst bij het adoptiegezin waren ze alle drie nog enorm angstig ten opzichte van mensen. Heel geleidelijk aan begonnen ze open te bloeien met behulp van allerhande speeltjes, snoepjes en veel geduld. Goldie heeft haar naam volop verdiend….she’s golden. Goldie was ook de allereerste van de drie die we konden aaien en is uitgegroeid tot een kat die heel graag in het gezelschap is van mensen die ze vertrouwt. Goldie zal in het begin nog wat afwachtend zijn, maar eens ze jou vertrouwt gaat ze heel graag in jouw buurt vertoeven en het liefst van al in de zetel dichtbij jou. Ze miauwt amper, maar ’s ochtends is ze de wekker. Ze miauwt dan op zo’n schattige manier dat je niet anders kan dan opstaan om haar te knuffelen. Ze houdt hier enorm van en slaat haar lichaam tegen je aan op een manier zoals alleen Goldie het kan…heel erg lief en speels tegelijkertijd. Ze gaat nooit uithalen met haar klauwtjes, spint en ronkt,….echt een toppertje voor wie op zoek is naar een kat die enorm veel liefde te bieden heeft in ruil voor massa’s aaitjes. De kat is ontvlooid, ontwormd, gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en geregistreerd. Ze is getest op aids en leucose en testte negatief op beide. We vragen de gebruikelijke tussenkomst in de dierenartskosten van 200 euro per kat wanneer beide vaccinaties gegeven werden. Adoptieprocedure: Er wordt eerst telefonisch nagegaan of er een goede match kan zijn tussen jou en de kat, nadien kan een afspraak gemaakt worden voor een bezoekje zodat jullie met elkaar kunnen kennis maken. Bij adoptie wordt een adoptiecontract getekend en de adoptiebijdrage wordt betaald bij het afhalen van de kat. De kat vertrekt met een Europees paspoort.
