Voor Rudy zoeken we een thuis waar hij niet naar buiten kan, tenzij in een veilig afgesloten tuin of koer maar dit is geen must. Karakter en achtergrond van de kat: Rudy was heel mager toen hij werd gevonden, dankzij goede zorgen is hij al ronder aan het worden, hij is op goede weg om terug een normaal gewicht te hebben. Uit bloedonderzoek is gebleken dat hij een te actieve schildklier heeft, wat verklaart waarom hij zo mager was. Hiervoor krijgt hij nu tweemaal daags een siroopje (Apelka of Thyrasol) wat hij levenslang zal moeten nemen. Hij neemt dit heel gemakkelijk in door het op natte voeding te doen. Ook werden zijn tandjes grondig aangepakt. Rudy is heel aanhankelijk en een schootzitter eersteklas. Hij droomt van een eigen thuis met een baasje dat veel thuis is en hem de aandacht kan geven die hij verdient. Het liefst zit hij de hele dag bij jou op de zetel. Vanaf je zijn kamer binnenkomt gaat zijn spinmotor aan. Gezien Rudy al wat ouder is, slaapt hij veel en hoort of ziet hij niet meer goed, maar zo nu en dan kan er toch nog een kort spelletje met een lint vanaf voor hij zich weer tegen jou komt nestelen. Voor Rudy zoeken we een ervaren kattenbaasje die begrijpt dat een seniorkat wat meer zorg nodig heeft dan de jongere kandidaten, maar je krijgt er veel liefde en dankbaarheid voor terug. Heb jij nog een plaatsje in jouw hart en zetel vrij neem dan zeker contact op. Alle katten zijn ontvlooid, ontwormd, gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en geregistreerd. Rudy is getest op aids en leucose en testte positief op aids. Voor seniors en FIV-positieve katten vragen we een verminderde bijdrage van €100. Adoptieprocedure: Er wordt eerst telefonisch nagegaan of er een goede match kan zijn tussen jou en de kat, nadien kan een afspraak gemaakt worden voor een bezoekje zodat jullie met elkaar kunnen kennis maken. Bij adoptie wordt een adoptiecontract getekend en de adoptiebijdrage wordt betaald bij het afhalen van de kat. Iedere kat vertrekt met een Europees paspoort.
