Adopt Goliath – Abendstund hat Gold im Mund

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 4 years

My name is Goliath. I am male, neutered, and born around 2020. I have been waiting since September 2022 for a new home. My caretakers say about me: Goliath came from an overpopulation that an older gentleman was feeding. Now, with the help of the family, the population is being reduced, and a new home is being sought for the good dozen kittens. Goliath is shy and currently only likes to be stroked in the twilight. Here, real practice and trust-building are still needed. Panic is not an issue; he is more cautious and needs his personal space for now. A patient hand is therefore requested, which allows Goliath to acclimate. One must also expect that at first, Goliath will not be very visible. After acclimation, this changes, and time must be given to him. Safe is safest… Goliath would be ideal as a second cat, as he gets along very well with fellow animals. While he is suitable for apartment living, Goliath can also be given free roam after acclimation, should the environment suit him. So, for those who have patience and ideally some experience, you will have much fun with Goliath, especially in the evenings. Who would like to enjoy the sunset with our imposing Goliath in the future?. This cat needs outdoor access.

Can I adopt Goliath – Abendstund hat Gold im Mund if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Schkortitz will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Is Goliath – Abendstund hat Gold im Mund already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. What happens if Goliath – Abendstund hat Gold im Mund isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Schkortitz early rather than rehoming privately; they know Goliath – Abendstund hat Gold im Mund and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
