Adopt Gremlin

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 11 months

Gremlin arrived at Triple A in July 2025 together with his brother Gizmo, when they were just under two months old. From the beginning, Gremlin was very reserved and did not feel comfortable being handled, which is understandable given his difficult start in life. Over time, Gremlin has begun to make small but important progress. He now dares to come out from under the sunbed, approaches cautiously when you enter the room, and will take treats, always with a bit of hesitation. He needs time, patience, and a calm environment to continue building confidence. Gremlin is sociable with other cats and lives peacefully with them, which helps him feel safer. He is looking for a family with experience with shy cats, willing to respect his pace and support him gently as he learns to trust.

About Gremlin

What life with Gremlin looks like

Gremlin is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

Note from the shelter: Very shy and reserved, needs patient family experienced with fearful cats

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Gremlin, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Gremlin?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Gremlin on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Gremlin if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Gremlin already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Gremlin isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Gremlin and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
