GREY

Female · Adult · 5 years

Status: Abandoned Breed: American Bully Sex: Female Microchip: 981100004830771 Born: 27/07/2021 Country: Belgium At the shelter since: 03/07/2026 Grey, a lovely American Bully, is looking for her forever home. Grey is a beautiful American Bully with a big heart who just wants to share her affection with a loving family. She is very kind and friendly, and she quickly wins over people with her gentle and reassuring presence. This charming girl is clean, tolerates loneliness well, and enjoys the company of humans, both young and old. She would be perfect for a family with children. Grey also gets along with her own kind, as she arrived at the shelter with a dog, which shows her good ability to live with her own kind. For her well-being, Grey will need a garden where she can enjoy the outdoors and exercise at her own pace. A life in an apartment could be possible under certain conditions, but a house with an outdoor space is the ideal setting for her. We do not have enough information about cats, car rides, or transportation to make a statement. The ideal home for Grey Grey is looking for a caring family that will offer her stability, affection, and wonderful moments of complicity. She will be a good fit for people who already have a sociable dog or a family with respectful children. A garden would be a real asset for her daily development. Grey has so much love to give and deserves a second chance with people who will welcome her as a real member of the family. For more information, please contact us ONLY by phone at 02 523 44 16.

About GREY

What life with GREY looks like

GREY is a adult dog waiting at Help Animals in Brussels.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇧🇪Adopting from Belgium

Belgian shelters operate under regional law (Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels each have their own rules). All adoptions include the Eurochip, vaccinations, and a stewardship contract. Several Flemish shelters partner with Dutch and German rescue networks.

Frequently asked

Adopting GREY, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about GREY?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Help Animals handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw GREY on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt GREY if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Help Animals will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is GREY already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if GREY isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Help Animals early rather than rehoming privately; they know GREY and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
