Grumse Trapp

We received word about Grumse from relatives of a woman who had passed away. They asked whether we could take in their mother's cat, a three-year-old named Flicka. We said yes, but it turned into a drawn-out process, since it turned out none of the children knew what their mother's cat looked like. In the end they found old photos of the cat as a kitten, so our trapper got a clear idea of what the cat looked like, and after a few weeks of effort the cat was caught. It turned out that Flicka was an unneutered, unmarked male cat, and we named him Grumse. His ears were wounded and full of ear mites, and he was frightened and not entirely used to being handled by new people. Now that Grumse has settled in, has been neutered, and has gotten some socialization, he is completely huggable, and he enjoys it. He is a kind and cautious guy who likes to take things at his own pace. Grumse enjoys the company of the other cats. ❤️

Vi fick larm om Grumse av anhöriga till en kvinna som hade gått bort, de undrade om vi kunde ta hand om deras mammas katt som var tre år och hette Flicka. Vi sa ja, men det blev en långdragen process då det visade sig att ingen av barnen visste hur mammans katt såg ut. Till slut hittade de gamla bilder på katten som kattunge så vår infångare fick klart för sig hur katten såg ut och efter några veckas kämpande var katten infångad. Det visade sig att Flicka var en okastrerad och omärkt hankatt, vi döpte honom till Grumse. Hans öron var såriga och fulla av öronskabb och han var skärrad, inte helt van att bli hanterad av nya människor. Nu efter att Grumse landat, blivit kastrerad och fått lite uppmjukning är han helt klappbar och han njuter av det. Han är en snäll och försiktig kille som vill ta saker och ting i sin takt. Grumse tycker om sällskapet av de andra katterna. ❤️
