Gucio had a home and a person who took care of him. Unfortunately, that person passed away… and Gucio ended up under the care of a woman who was unable to properly take care of him. That’s how he came to us. He arrived in poor condition, with a blocked urinary tract, unable to urinate. Fortunately, quick assistance was enough. A week of treatment and catheterization made the problem subside, and today it’s just a memory. There’s something else… Gucio sometimes snorts through his nose, emitting those funny-anxious sounds, like a little tractor idling. He underwent a diagnosis, but we couldn’t find a specific cause. We still need to clean his nasal cavity and sinuses to clear the accumulated discharge. Apart from that, Gucio is ready for adoption. He’s about 12 years old, making him our distinguished senior. This cat loves closeness, snuggles, and looks at you with those beautiful eyes… and sometimes he seems to know more about life than all of us put together. He won’t find a home with other animals. Gucio needs peace and a person all to himself. He is neutered, vaccinated, and his FIV/FELV tests are negative. His blood test results are very good, and he shows no signs of chronic diseases. He is not currently taking any medications. We are looking for a permanent or temporary home for him that will give him security, peace, and a piece of the couch exclusively for him.

Gucio miał swój dom i swojego człowieka, który o niego dbał. Niestety ten człowiek odszedł… a Gucio został pod opieką kobiety, która nie była w stanie odpowiednio się nim zająć. I tak trafił do nas. Przyjechał w złym stanie, z zatkaną cewką moczową, nie mógł się wysikać. Na szczęście szybka pomoc wystarczyła. Tydzień leczenia i cewnikowania sprawił, że problem ustąpił i dziś to już tylko wspomnienie. Zostało coś innego… Gucio czasami charczy przez nosek, wydaje takie śmieszno-niepokojące dźwięki, jak mały traktorek na wolnych obrotach. Przeszedł diagnostykę, ale nie znaleźliśmy konkretnej przyczyny. Przed nim jeszcze płukanie jamy nosowej oraz zatok, żeby oczyścić zalegającą wydzielinę. Poza tym Gucio jest gotowy do adopcji. Ma około 12 lat, czyli jest naszym dostojnym seniorkiem. To kot, który kocha bliskość, tuli się, patrzy tymi swoimi pięknymi oczami i… czasem wygląda, jakby wiedział o życiu więcej niż my wszyscy razem wzięci. Nie odnajdzie się w domu z innymi zwierzętami. Gucio potrzebuje spokoju i człowieka tylko dla siebie. Jest wykastrowany, zaszczepiony, testy FIV felv ujemne. Wyniki krwi ma bardzo dobre, nie ma oznak chorób przewlekłych. Aktualnie nie przyjmuje żadnych leków. Szukamy dla niego domu stałego albo tymczasowego. Takiego, który da mu bezpieczeństwo, ciszę i kawałek kanapy na wyłączność.
