Gunner would prefer to be the only dog in the home with the potential for some walking pals. He can be a shy boy initially when first meeting you but comes round quickly with a tasty snack! Gunner is nearly four years old and he is a Bavarian Mountain Hound and his ideal home would have experience with his breed/similar breeds; they like to explore using their nose and enjoy having a job to do. Gunner is currently in foster with one of our amazing fosterers where he has settled in amazingly. His foster carer is working on getting him to walk with a loose lead and teaching him that a harness is not so scary to wear. Gunner travels well in the car and can get in on his own, once settled he can be left for a couple of hours alone, but this will need to be built up gradually in his new home.
