Gürkchen is a friendly, dog-friendly, energetic, and people-oriented female cat. She was born on January 1, 2026, and is spayed. Her coat is black, brown, and white. Gürkchen came to us as part of our spay/neuter program. Her coat was thin and her skin was red, indicating a Demodex mite infestation. She stayed with us and received targeted treatment. She is now free of mites and continues to recover in our shelter. Her coat is growing well, so little of the disease is visible. Gürkchen is a small whirlwind, who brings a lot of energy to our older dog group. She still has a lot to learn, especially what calm means, and is playful due to her age. Gürkchen's desired home: Gürkchen wants a home with people who enjoy her lively nature, set boundaries patiently with her, and explore the world with her without overwhelming her. She would also appreciate confident dogs as companions. Our dogs are microchipped, have an EU pet passport, and are age-appropriately socialized. They also have up-to-date ectoparasite protection, are regularly treated for endoparasites, and are vaccinated against rabies, distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza, and leptospirosis. We cannot test every dog's cat compatibility. Dabei fiel auf, dass ihr Fell schütter war und ihre Haut gerötet – sie war von Demodexmilben befallen. Deshalb blieb siebei uns und erhielt eine gezielte Behandlung. Mittlerweile ist sie wieder frei von den Milben und erholt sich weiterhin in unserem Tierheim. Ihr Fell wächst inzwischen sehr gut nach, sodassnur noch wenig von der Erkrankung zu sehen ist. Gürkchen ist ein kleiner Wirbelwind, die in unserer älteren Hundegruppe ordentlich für Schwung sorgt. Sie muss noch viel lernen, darunter insbesondere, was Ruhe bedeutet, und istaltersbedingt noch sehr verspielt. Gürkchens Wunschzuhause:Für ihr zukünftiges Zuhause wünscht sich Gürkchen Menschen, die Freude an ihrem lebhaften Wesen haben, ihr geduldig Grenzen setzen und gemeinsam mit ihr die Welt draußen erkunden, ohne sie zu überfordern. Sicherlich würde sie sich auch über souveräne Hunde als Gesellschaft freuen. Unsere Hunde werden gechippt, besitzen einen EU-Heimtierausweis und sind altersentsprechend sozialisiert. Zudem verfügen sie über einen aktuellen Ektoparasitenschutz, werden regelmäßig gegen Endoparasiten behandelt und sind gegen Tollwut sowie Staupe, Hepatitis, Parvovirose, Parainfluenza und Leptospirose geimpft. Katzebegegnungen können wir nicht mit jedem Hund testen.
