Bela und seine Hennen Carla und Tina sind ein eingespieltes Trio und werden ausschließlich zusammen vermittelt. Gegenüber Menschen zeigen sie sich zunächst etwas distanziert, lassen sich mit Geduld und dem richtigen Futter aber gut für sich gewinnen. Die drei sind unkompliziert, sehr neugierig und beobachten ihre Umgebung aufmerksam. Bela ist für einen Hahn angenehm ruhig und kräht nicht ununterbrochen. Weder Menschen noch andere Tiere werden von ihnen angegriffen; auch Hunde kennen sie bereits und kommen problemlos mit ihnen zurecht.
