C'est un transfert d'association : Une Truffe et un Toi nous l'a confié, car il se trouvait dans une famille d'accueil en centre-ville, ce qui ne lui convenait pas du tout. HARRY est arrivé de Roumanie au mois de juin, où il se trouvait en fourrière à Bucarest, après avoir été attrapé par les dogcatchers dans la rue. Pour le moment, nous apprenons à le connaître. Sa famille d'accueil nous a dit qu'il était dans la fuite durant ses promenades en ville, et pouvait réagir sur certains humains en croisement. Il n'arrivait à profiter de ses balades qu'en forêt avec peu de monde. Nous avons pu constater de notre côté que HARRY est sur la réserve lorsqu'il ne connaît pas, mais si on le respecte et qu'on lui laisse le temps, il ne lui faut que quelques heures pour s'ouvrir et accepter (et même demander) des caresses. Nous décelons sous sa réserve un petit tempérament joyeux et rigolo. Il est pour le moment dans le bureau de l'association, afin de s'habituer aux allées et venues des salariés et bénévoles, et il le vit bien. Nous adapterons en fonction de son évolution. Nous allons rapidement le sortir en balade pour voir comment il se comporte, et nous compléterons sa fiche. Il est probable qu'il sera mieux dans un environnement rural. Nous verrons s'il peut progresser en milieu semi-urbain. HARRY est sociable avec ses congénères, il ne pose aucun problème en groupe de chiens. HARRY a une allergie, vraisemblablement au pollen ou aux acariens, ce qui lui provoque des démangeaisons au cou. Nous allons l'emmener chez un vétérinaire spécialiste pour déterminer exactement ce qu'il a. Nous demanderons obligatoirement aux adoptants un suivi avec un éducateur que nous conseillerons.
